We take reasonable steps to ensure any overseas disclosures comply with Australian Privacy Principle 8, requiring foreign recipients to handle information in a way consistent with Australian privacy law.

5. Data Storage and Security

All customer and creditor data is hosted on AWS servers located in Australia. We use industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS), restricted administrative access, and regular backups. While we apply strict safeguards, no online system is 100% secure; users should keep their login credentials confidential.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal information only as long as needed to provide the Insolvr service or as required by law. Client and creditor data is deleted upon account termination or upon written request.

8. Overseas Disclosure

Certain analytics data collected via PostHog Cloud may be transferred and processed in the European Union or United States. All core customer and creditor data remains stored solely on AWS servers in Australia. By using Insolvr, you consent to this limited overseas transfer for analytics purposes.
